THANK YOU, JAN! THE LINK BETWEEN SCHOOL AND REDIE

Since June 2010, Jan Quinten has been a familiar face at Redie. After many years as a teacher at Kempenhorst College, he joined us part-time as our training coordinator. His experience in education proved invaluable in this role.

Jan was the link between students, schools and Redie. He held meetings, maintained contact with schools, followed students’ development and took the time to provide additional guidance and advice. Thanks to these close connections, students also knew where to find Redie when looking for an internship or work-study position.

In the workshop, our students learned the trade from experienced colleagues. Jan provided the guidance and support around that. A combination that worked well for many years.

Over more than sixteen years, Jan has seen many students and interns join Redie and develop their skills. At the same time, we have learned a great deal from him about guiding and supporting students. We will carry that knowledge forward.

Jan’s role at Redie now comes to an end. Time to enjoy the freedom of travelling with his wife and their camper.

Jan, thank you for all these years and for everything you have done for Redie and our students.
