Girls Technology Day 2025

On April 10, we were delighted to open our doors to the first-year students from De Kempenhorst School for the national
Girls Technology Day 2025!
This inspiring day was all about doing, discovering and breaking down stereotypes in the world of technology.
And what better way to explore technology than by getting hands-on?
Armed with a measuring tape, drill, and plenty of enthusiasm, the students got to work in our workshop under guidance.
They drilled, glued, and built their own card holders – resulting in beautiful creations and proud smiles.
After completing their card holders, we gave the girls a guided tour of our factory. They got a behind-the-scenes look, saw the large machines in action, and learned more about different materials and construction techniques.
Girls' Technology Day is a unique opportunity for young girls to experience just how fun and diverse the world of technology and interior construction can be. And that's more important than ever: due to persistent stereotypes, too much technical talent remains untapped. Previous editions have shown that 1 in 3 participants leave the day with increased interest in pursuing a technical education.
Something extra to celebrate
By sharing their handmade card holders on social media, the girls had a chance to win one of two luxurious Rituals gift sets!
A small token of appreciation for their creativity and enthusiasm.
Congratulations to the winners: Ise and Britt!
We look back with pride on a day full of inspiration. Here's to encouraging even more girls to explore the world of technology!
